There are many current residents that have been my friends for the last 20 yrs...I get pretty protective of them.

I also dislike generalizations...

there are a few about people from south of my border...

should I apply them?

you mean all those communists in the peoples democratic republic of massachusetts who can't drive?

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Hey, I represent . . . errr. . .resent . . . .errr . . . actually I am technically a NH resident.

I have never had any work done at BCM.  Seems I got into Ducati just after the ownership shift at BCM.  I have heard a lot of personal opinions from more than a few people, but have no FHE.  I have been to Seacoast a few times, mostly for parts.  That have made a couple of mistakes but did a good job fixing them and making it right.  Looks like my standard will be Seacoast for parts and drooling on bikes and DucVet for and service that I can't handle.

kind of sucks that everyone is bagging on bcmducati and BCM is no longer associated with them at all...

I think the cold weather is getting to you up there. I hope you know I was kidding. I thought the  "[laugh]" would have been the give-a-away.  [cheeky]

BCM was indeed special when Bruce owned the dealership.  Going there was like visiting friends and family, the only difference was you got a bill at the end.

The good news is the family is not gone, just more spread out.  Eric is on his own at Club House Motor Sports, we are blessed to have Jay back in  New York at European Cycle Service and both Miles and Kyle will be at Seacoast.  Bruce is busy doing stuff to help the Ducati community.

Charlief

Looks like Seacoast will be picking up the void left by BCM

You must have some inside dirt, throw out a bone to be chewed.    ;D

No dirt, just don't see it as that big a deal!

If it were Bruce shutting it down, that would be news.  As it is, meh.

Something will happen to fill the void.

i hope and expect the void to be filled, with something/someone even better.
