Edmondson, a pioneer in motorcycle racing and one of the original Managing Members of the AMA Pro Racing organization, will be leaving to deal with some unforeseen health issues that necessitate his full attention.

Perhaps eating that entire crow wasn't such a healthy thing?

Agreed. Didn't know the extent of his medical condition. I wish him well. Don't mean to make fun of anyone in that condition.

No one wished him personal misfortune...

he sucked at the AMA pro racing gig...

that won't change.

awful for him.  best of luck to him.

good for racing - maybe.

hopefully his comfort zone is soon larger than that of, say, a gnat.

So now the big questions are who's takes over and if they can make any significant changes in order to salvage the 2010 season.
I have a copy of the FIM WSBK rulebook on my desktop, who at the AMA should I foreward it to?

jimi

1) nobody, since the ama doesn't run ama pro racing.

2) changing the rules for next season right now wouldn't be a good thing for the teams that've already planned next season.

3) they already have that rulebook since they're the fim national affiliate.
