You'se guys do any ice riding? I sheet metal screwed a set of tires last winter but never got around to installing and testing em.
I'm going to order some actual Kold Kutters and try to give it a go this year. First time on the ice.

I know a couple of guys who race in Sullivan, Rome pond on county F. Crazy, checked 'em out once a couple years back. Don't know if I'd ever do it.

Don't know about you guys but I'm dying to ride.  I started up Bella last night in the garage and wept a bit...

Same here - every time I'm in the garage running the forge, I look at that motorcycle cover and think "WOW - I can't wait to roll that thing down the driveway and off through the curves!"

Well we finally got out today - It was just to the marsh and there was only clear ice where they ran the drags last weekend but it was still a blast. It takes a while to trust the tires that's for sure.

HOpefully next weekend will find us on Winnebago on a real track. A couple fellas plow it and I think it is about 2 miles.

Where at on Winnebago?  If I am free, I'll try to get down there to watch.

I guess they park at/near Wendts. Doesn't sound so far like a lot of people are thinking of riding this weekend but there will probably be a couple out. I've gotta work Sat so hopefully Sunday if th eweathers decent.

Let me know an approximate time and I'll come down there weather permitting.  I'll throw that receiver hitch platform on if you want to take a look at one in person.

Went out last weekend for the first time on pro built tires that I spent a small fortune on. It was a blast. We were on the south shore of the lake at Pete's. I dunno what Petes is, but it's also known as Roosevelt park or something.

Ice season is over here  Cry
But we seem to have gone from ice one weekend to streets the next so it could be worse!

Goodnews is next year I'll be out earlier on the ice with the proper tires.

We had great ice when it rained inches on top of the frozen lake then froze. Little weird seeing the weeds under the ice though!
