I wish I got that email...  With at least $600,000 I could get out of the rest of my army service obligation.  It's called a Change-of-lifestyle Chapter.  If you come into a large amount of money the army won't force you to stay in because they lose the ability to punish you by reducing your rank or pay.  Who cares if they demote you if you're damn near a millionaire.  Lucky.
