Seriously? So what you're saying is you'd rather buy one right off the showrrom floor that they claim to be a new model when all it really is is old technology in a warmed over leftover that they threw the parts bin at and has is a different fender and a different paint scheme?

I'd rather have the custom. Take a good look. It has a lot of higher end components than the standard HD.
Ah, do you have it right? Not quite. My FXDX actually handles rather well. I was trying to be nice and find something positive to say about that custom, but the fact is that style of bike is (_!_) ugly; that particular custom just a bit less so.
Those types of bikes are made primarily to be seen, not ridden, and I don't care for what I see. Sure it has "higher end components" but so what. Components must also be evaluated for how that contribute to the whole; this one's a whole mess imo.
ICON's chopper comes much closer to what I would find interesting in a HD type custom.
