Thank you ASADO (like to grill?) for this picture. It really helps to see the difference between stock and rizoma.. assuming that you had the MAGURA bars as stock bars that is.

I have +16mm risers on my S4Rs with MV Agusta Brutale handlebars.  The Brutale bar has more rise and pullback.

It's funny that I read somewhere that a brutale owner got the MAGURA bars for his MV Smiley

I had to have Spiegler build +3" brake and clutch lines (very fast, very reasonable prices) and Barnet build a +3" throttle cable (ditto) to reach properly.

If I do the risers only, will I have to get longer clutch and throttle cables?

Which risers are the tallest/better and where can I buy them? I've seen some risers with a triple clamp and others that are just blocks. What is better?

Thank you for the help you guys ROCK!!!  waytogo

SpeedyMoto are 31 mm 20 mm and come with the stabilizing(?) top clamp. They look great, IMO, but they aren't cheap.
On my S2R no problems, but I've heard that can change from model to model - even sometimes within a model year.

Genmar is a cheaper option, on sale "everywhere" including e-bay. Separate top clamps are also available, can't remember from where. Do a search?

You can *just barely* make out the +16mm one-piece riser in this picture; it's much nicer than the "add-on" blocks.  If you want, I'll take a clearer picture of these risers and post it, and I will also try to review my eBay feedback to see if I can determine who the seller was.

Tim

It would be really helpful to see that picture.. thank you~ and if you find the seller on ebay,, that's great too.  How much did you spend on that?

I looked at the auction. Are those the same ones you have and do not use? it will sure look ugly if the color is too off!

Here is a side by side pictures of the two bars.  (note that with the new speedymoto triple tree, using the stock bar and riser will drop the height about .25 inch)  My guesstimate is that the Rizoma bar's rise is about 1 inch higher than stock.  The most drastic difference is in the sweep angle.

Those pics are worth a thousand words!  Why did you go back to stock bars? Did the dramatic sweep back with the rizoma bother you ?
THanks SOOOO much for the pics ASADO!!

oh.. and did you have to drill holes and what not to get the rizoma bars properly installed? If you did.. I may have to have my local dealer install them.., I would not want to mess it up.

I just shaved the buttons/knobbies off the controls and wrapped the area where the controls will mount with electrical tape.  Also, you will need to adjust the steering stops to prevent the controls/bar from hitting the tank.  Buy a six pack and do it yourself.

Tim.. where did you buy the brutale bars? They look like they are a lot taller than the rizoma bars which would eliminate the need for a riser.. the sweep may help a lot ...... I rode 100 miles today and my wrists are SORE..

Are the Brutale bars a 7/8 in the middle or a perfct fit for the S4R.. (fatter in the middle)

I found this brutale bars on ebay Italy
