I have a customer who has a crack in his lower triple clamp and is considering a billet one.  So far I've only found one for the early models at Motowheels, all the others are for late models.

Anyone know of others?

IMA SrL absolutely fit, and come with "options". The Costa's are great to work too.

Options include Anodized Color, bore diameter (53 - sbk, 56 - ohlins, 54 stock), and the offset is 30mm, which gets it to the same as the newer (02+) monsters. Much less expensive than SpeedyMoto AND you can get a matching top triple as well. They make them for 94-01 Monsters, all Superbikes, and 02-09 Monsters. You will have to provide your own tapered bearing set to replace the stock ones, but that's no big deal. They come with stainless bolts and holes drilled for headlight U-bracket and turn-stops on the lower, and the upper has holes for handlebar mounts, fairing mounts, and whatever else you might need (like even the mount holes that I believe was for the brake manifold used before brake lines were more easily T-junctioned.)

Here is it installed on mine, I have another thread about it somewhere.

They were great to work with.

And for the Americas:

You don't need one if you are in the States, don't know about Oz. Contact Patrick or Emanuele at the above addresses, they are fantastic to work with.

Couple of things to make sure you are aware of before you jump in with both feet:

This changes the offset to 30mm. The stock 94-01 Monsters have a 25mm or so offset --> The IMA triples will put it at 30mm (so you need to use both upper and lower as a set) which will be the same as on the newer Monsters (02-09). The steering is slightly less quick into the turn, but a more stable feeling once you are leaned on over. You can get the top triple drilled wider for tapered bar mounting, and the ano comes in three colors (gold, black and silver). You can also choose the boring, if you have standard Monster forks, its 50/54. If you have Showa SBK forks, its 53/53. If you get Ohlins SBK forks, you need 53/56.

You'll also need a new set of steering head bearings. That's a pair - upper and lower. They are tapered on the older Monsters. Standard OEM equipment is SKF, same as what Speedymoto is selling.

The IMA triples come with stainless bolts all around. waytogo

The bolt at the top triple on the bottom one looks suspicious. Pre-02 Monsters don't use the same style as the newer Monsters, and that looks like a new Monster top nut. Old Monsters use a big bolt that screws into the stem. Otherwise, those look fantastic.

Thanks Again Ato, great detail.
Yeah I have contacted them direct and they have been very helpful and prompt. They have a paypal account set up and once they recieve the money the parts are on the way. I brought the whole set, plus the risers to match. Just going to go with the standard Aliminium ones, was thinking bout the black, but think with the grey frame the Ali ones suit better.
Yeah I have the Adjustable Showa on mine so I have sent this info on and fingers crossed it should all be sweet. After that its over to Brad, he will source the bearings, make it all better, and then its happy days back on the bike  waytogo  [moto].
Ill keep you all posted and post some photo's once its all sorted.
Thanks all

it's an ss set - they used that 8 hole 916 style nut on the ie bikes even tho it's the same set up as the early monsters and ss underneath.
