The slip on termi's are barely louder than the stock pipes. When i spent $3k to put slip ons on my S4R i was very disappointed at how quiet they were. That's just the nature of slip-ons whilst the cat is still in place. Mine compared to the S4R w/full system (or in fact any Duc with a full system) is chalk and cheese. You can't even hear my bike over theirs

gino - I feel your pain with the engine rattle. Winter warmup is the worst as i am out the front rattling my bones to pieces trying to get the temp up before setting off. For me the exhaust isn't the problem, it's the engine that i wish i could quieten down. Have you tried going back to the stock pipes at all?
