do Rizoma offer replacement bars or can you replace a broken bar with any other 7/8 handlebar?
Yes, Rizoma offers replacements.
Other 7/8 bars won't work.

I had the unfortunate experience to need one. Yes they do. PJ's Parts, they don't list it, just email them. While they are threaded, they also used some sort of crystalline glue stuff, so I had to use a big a$$ pipe wrench to get the old one off.

I'm thinking about it, but I'm also thinking about how I can mount a GPS in the space left from where the risers were. Then, if I put the windscreen back on, it should keep everything looking in proportion.
I have Rizoma's on my S2R1K, plus bar end mirrors. I used a Tek mount for my GPS that threads into the stock mirror mount. Didn't lower my gauges which I think looks fine with the Rizomas and if you are going to retain the windscreen. The Rizoma clip-ons go above the triple, if not, then lowering the gauges I think would be in order.

Newest shipment of parts just in. Stuff from motowheels!
But, before we begin that, I found my camera, and thus the pictures of installing the new exhaust. Didn't start snapping till half way through the process, sorry guys!
Horizontal cylinder
Vertical cylinder
Collector
Right side of bike
Proof that I can handle a wrench
Thinking
Good side
Rear side
Bad side
Ok, the stuff from motowheels!
New right side carbon panel
Chop kit
Tail light and chop kit installed, the chop kit is a nice unit. I highly suggest it, even though it costs more than it should
Clean wiring and resistor for turn signals
With the seat on, please excuse the moisture... the door to my "shop" had to be open. You'll see why next.
My current shop... a 10x10 storage unit. Not supposed to be working on a motor vehicle there, but since i'm not in florida yet, and don't have a garage, it'll have to suffice.
Almost forgot the side panel!

That would be loc-tight, and I'd assume they used red.

The futon looks like a great place to sit while you tap those Chilled kegs

I was gonna ask, why the change from the very nice shop to the storage unit?

Very nice shop is my dads back in new mexico. We built it to build a 40+ foot wheelbase twin-front axle rig up truck for the local oilfield industry. I just finished up college here in Indiana and am waiting for may to roll around so i can move to florida and follow up on orders to go to flight school. in the meantime, I'm stuck in an apartment complex with no garage for me, and i needed a shop and a place to store the bike while I worked on it.

Hey amigo, when are you headed to flight school?
With your record at DITR, you are NOT allowed to bring a $100Million jet next year

Tell you what... I'll fly the plane into telluride and you bring Salt&Pepper for me to ride to Ouray
All kidding aside, I'm headed to florida at the end of april, early may. I probably won't even be flying by august though... optimal time to take a week off over a weekend to head to the mountains, no? I just need to make sure I have a bike rounded up in the area though. I'm not sure how the navy would feel about me driving off to the killing grounds with my prime weapon of destruction in tow. So i believe I'll fly out and maybe ride a slow ninja 250 or something... maybe i'll find a used sv to turn into a beater track bike.

Replacement seat came in. $70+ shipping from Muskrat here on the boards. Now when I get my old seat re-done I can have a touring-style seat and a regular one!
And a glamor shot over wolf creek:
And before I get hell for the couches in my apartment... it came furnished.
