I was running some errands yesterday and I started thinking (daydreaming) about riding in the spring. A thought occurred to me that it would be cool to have a place to share stretches of road that are in really terrible shape. The stretch of 35W through Burnsville prompted this thought. It is rough shape, in more ways than one. Between the pots, ruts between lanes, and the general uneven-nes of the road sections I didn't want to drive my car on it, much less a motorcycle.

Since we came to this new monster board, we do not have a Mod for this local section. It would take a Mod to make a sticky.

Pot holes make straight roads more entertaining though.  You have an excuse to weave around in your lane. So... where's that road again  Grin

On a related note, I just downloaded a new app for my iPhone.  It's called "greatest roads", and it's got user-input maps of great motorcycling roads around the country.

If you've got an iPhone or iTouch, it's pretty cool.  It'll be fun to plug in some routes for MN/WI this spring.
