holy shite! riding sand is crazy fun.  riding sand w/ speeding, drunk, underage riders of atvs, trucks, and sandrails flying around you in every direction is insane. but still fun 

if any of you get a chance to make it down to "pismo" technically oceano ohv, do it! their lease is up in june (a few days from now) so get there while you can. there are of course legal challenges being made to prohibit off-road use with renewal of the lease.

My buddy use to work the dunes towing people out and giving rides in those hummers.

That place is just too insane on holiday weekends. I've always stayed as far away as I could... I have too many friends that got creamed by a truck driven by some drunkard.

Yep, those are all the reason I stayed far away from the dunes when I lived down there.
