looks like a stock tank that's been well 'customized' with a hammer.
Re:the tank on the bike with the model...
That is an old school chopper trick (frequently used by Indian Larry) in which you cut ovals out of the tank and weld them back in,inverted.Form over function,as you do lose some fuel capacity.

Yeah, this bike doesn't live up to this thread's theme.

Speaking of themes, this bike is one of those custom theme bikes.  And the funny and ironic thing is that the theme is phi, Fibonacci numbers, the golden mean, etc.  The large component idea behind that theme is that beauty is found in certain geometric proportions commonly referred to as the golden mean and quantified in whole numbers by the Fibonacci number sequence.

Yet the proportions of this bike are radical chopper proportions, which are the exact opposite of the proportions of beauty said to be in the golden mean.

Or something like that.

Well hey, if you guys think that bike is beautiful, more power to you.

But Fibonacci numbers and golden mean ratios are quantifiable math, and that bike ain't it.

You are quite right, red header wrap has absolutely nothing to do with the Fibonacci Sequence.

And neither does the red ceramic coating on the headers of my bike.  They have nothing to do with the Fibonacci Sequence.

I have no idea what your point is, beyond some attempt at humor, possibly meant to be at my expense.

Could it be that you have no idea what is meant by mean and extreme proportions and you missed my point entirely?

Hmmm....
