i would totally take it just for the rareness factor.
back then, they were trying to ape Honda, if you squint from a distance you can see it looks like one of the old 750 cruisers.
the chrome on the engine and parts was SHIT. Iv'e never seen one that wasn't flaking like crazy.

Jeff has one at his AMS shop in Alvarado. Y'know, it looks like it would a pretty fair grocer getter. Interestingly, the fender/rear wheel clearance looks HUGE for that style bike.

well duh, how do you think you'd fit a 300-series tire on it otherwise?
FYI the frame is nearly identical to the Cagiva Elefant, with the square box frame and 2-piece cradle. I bet it's the same except for a bigger angled neck.

Good call. It is nice to see this project again. What kind of swingarm is that? They just need to put a round headlight and a Monster tank on that bike and it would be ascetically complete.
BTW, I don't think I've ever even heard of Deem before. I'll have to do a little research.

It's a Ram mag swingarm, there was more progress posted today, I agree about the headlight, sadly it's got full fairings
