Quote
S4RS, 1098S "Mako"
Hi,
the Monster got its genes back: derivied from an 851 superbike ,it got a Fullfairing and a Monoseat back. The Tank remained as the "monster" part on it.
Fairing is an adapted `78 TT1 Hailwood , Tail is a ´72 Imolastyle mutation over the years from my first ´78 bevel SS, but recognizable , as I think.

the 1098 is a last the same story : `78 TT 1 fairing bottom merged with a 1098 top and adapted `72 Imolaseat and a Streetfighter Tank, which is the "monsterization" for the 1098.
The modern project was done because of aerodynamic malebehaviour of the oldstyle S4RS : there is not enough downforce on frontwheel at topspeed and analysing the overallsituation I found the seatposition to be to low and to far backwards, so more or less I was forced to set up a new bike, which should be even advanced in respect to aero and massforces compared to the base 1098.
hope you accept this.

oh, you can pick them up cheaply, but doing work on them is a pregnant dog (parts wise) unless you are in italy often

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.
