I was dubious of that word, 'direct', considering the era, but there are injectors visible on the cylinders.

Still looks like they aren't injecting high enough to be after exhaust port closing.

what angle are they and how long?  they might be a good 3-4 inches down in there

He's likely trimmed 40 pounds or so off, which is a good thing, for sure.
That's the thing that bums me out the most about my GC, it's just too heavy for serious off road.

Fuel range compromised a bit with that tank, but there's other options to address that.

SO, Speeddog, I Emailed the guy ( took a chance with the cues and got lucky) and he said the tank is a Suzuki GS550 and a custom rear subframe for the Monster seat to lay on. He has some pics of his build here -> https://www.facebook.com/groups/300909350022244/ for which I am thinking about. He was very nice in his reply despite the language barrier.
