"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

The tank does not work because it is on backwards.

i think they put on the plain jane marzocchi 32mm forks, which i really don't think is enough for htat bike. would have been better to keep the original triple and use M1R from a Paso.

I dunno. I've thought about doing something similar with my 650 Elefant, but...I don't like the square tubed frame. Even though it's practical and doesn't use the motor much as a stressed member I think it's heavy, both physically and visually. With all due respect to the builder, the bike would've been better off left as an Elefant, IMHO.

The tank sort of reminds me of what the vintage BMW guys call a toaster. But the rest of the bike is OK. The Hi Low pipes seem kind of awkward at first but maybe less awkward than getting the horizontal cylinder high or the vertical cylinder low. No bulging pipe loops. And the builder evidently has enough money to buy a mandrel tubing bender, no gobbed up welds every 3mm along the length of the pipes.
I like the swingarm, looks simple like something I could build. I read through the website and the bike was designed and built by an ex-racer and it's designed to handle as well as just looking like a custom bike.
But the tank needs work.

The tank is fine, the rest of the bike is fine, the tank and bike as one piece? Far from fine.
