Nope. It would have been a perfect way to tie the tail section in a bit better, IMO.

SS1000 swingarm, later model frame (it’s stronger), aluminum subframe, titanium shock spring...

I really love this build.  Gotta take into consideration, I’m just hyper critical.  The bike is drop-dead gorgeous and a stellar combination of new tech and an older classic.  I really love it.
