The similarity of that parallel to this one is very strong, but then again, that is a pretty standard look for hte 70s bikes.  Coils are in the exact same place too. Same carbs.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

I like this 1983 Benelli Sei on eBay right now.  Never seen one in red before.

I've never seen one NOT in red!
The one I see out on the streets every now and then is white.  I guess I've seen them in red, but what I really liked about the one I posted was that it was a deep dusky red as opposed to the more orange-red of the one you posted.  I'm sure they are the same color, just with different lighting.

only one Benelli red.  my photo was taken under very overcast skies, probably with flash.  it was raining out.

Thanks for the link!  Looks like the bike I was interested in is called the Needle.

no problem, he has done a couple other ducs that aren't on the site that are pretty cool.  Although all of his bikes tend to be somewhat similar.
