Ducati "Troll" Supertwin up for sale

If you know this bike, you will buy it.  I don't have 9000 laying around.  It needs work, he threw a belt while riding.  The damage is unknown.  Could just be a bent valve or could be a destroyed cylinder.  Either way, it is worth WELL more than 9000.



SIGH...I would have bought this immediately had I seen it a few days ago.  Damnit damnit damnit.....

I got snaked on the Aprilla RSV Cafe. But I saw these a couple nights ago. The bike may be a derby but the shots aren't.

The 851 line stopped in 1992.  After that it was the 888.

Early model 851s had the M1R forks and 16" wheels (well, only the 1987 models on the wheels)

Later model 851s had USD forks and 17" wheels.

Some other minor changes too.

1992 saw both 851 and 888 models on the showroom floors.

Yeah, I understand all that.  The bike for sale is a 92.  No more 851's after 92.

Is a Ducati not Italian when it uses a Bosch ignition, a Saprisa generator, and Nippondenso electrics?



Of course it's Italian.  Just like the Cagiva Navigator is Italian.
