wonder what coating was used on the above MH900E's exhaust pipes, and how long will it last??  Looking for something like this to put on my boomtubes this winter...

There's ceramic coatings that hold up quite nicely.  Smiley

Yes, but I recommend those that have the highest temperature rating.  The coating on my headers are rated to about 1300 degrees, but it's flaking up near the exhuast ports.

I had my 'tubes delivered with a matte black ceramic coating, and while they still look good, years of action have introduced stains and abrasion of the coating, especially the front header immediately behind the front wheel.

I haven't seen glossy ceramic coating before.  I'm interested to see if it would be any more or less durable, or stain resistant, than the matte ceramic coatings...

Its not really a gloss.  Most use a clear coat which gives a somewhat glossy shine.  The fact its a second coat might help tho.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Holy f#@king shit!! Those vids gave me chills!! waytogo Seeing that live would make up for my most fav missed race moment... the 1966 LeMans 1-2-3 finish of the Ford GT40s. Would have loved to have been there for that. A damn classic if there ever was one! Take that Enzo Ferrari. laughingdp

Seeing Ago on the MV hauling ass and hearing that exhaust song would just kick ass. Hope those folks appreciate seeing that in person. popcorn bow down bacon

The MV was ear-splittingly, gloriously loud going by at full song.
