That pic makes it look like the swingarm is welded to the subframe of that green and red Bimota!  Ouch!!   laughingdp

that vertical part goes behind the swingarm.. the colors are melding

Probably the same reason as why they have the faux patina...
and the oil cooler blocking the airflow to the cylinders...
and zip ties holding the front brake lines to the fork legs...

plenty of folks do this at the track...

srsly?

Conservative estimate is $4k for the suspension bits alone.
The best they can do is untrimmed zipties for the brake lines?

I think what he is saying is that the carbs are just for looks and the injector does the real work?

The oil cooler doesn't really block anything....air goes thru it by design. Air that will hten hit the engine itself, albeit at a slightly higher than ambient temperature.

seems crazy to put FCRs on a bike that isn't using them

i know that Triumph uses a funky throttle body that LOOKS like a carb so they keep the retro look, but using a carb for looks is just nvts..

here is a 100 with the fake carb throttle body

those 5-spoke FPS wheels are on practically every late 70s thru mid 80s Italian bike.  I have them on my 81 Darmah, on the 84 Pantah TL .. Ducati used the magnesium version on the TT bikes.

I like the Cafe Veloce by Radical Ducati, though I prefer the look of the Sport 1000 tank compared to the GT1000 tank they used.
