Either larger and flush or the original square.
I might have them modify a frame. I really want one of these. Although I am 50/50 about the seat, I might prefer the SL type seat for mine with the Imola fairing.

You're right, especially the rear fender. It could just be removed entirely.

they don't bother me so much. i like the front style. the rear i could leave off too, but i assume they built these bikes for riding and without that hugger, the tail is going to look like crap after a season of gravel and crap coming up. BTDT

that desmoquattro head better be supported in some other way besides the studs then, because the engine torquing plus the frame flex is going to yank it off those studs.
