Only the hardiest of lushes need apply. Who knows, we might get a break in the weather and be able to sit outside.

Anyway, if you're new and want to know what this is all about, ask someone or read an old thread. Or show up; how bad could it be?

So let me just say that I'm retarded.  Now I understand that you all have been privy to this information for some time now, but it is a shock to me.  I've always considered myself right in the meaty part of the bell curve when it comes to smarts--not dumb enough to eat paint, not smart enough to be a threat.  Well, tonight I wore wet leather gloves home.  And let me just say that something that feels unpleasant chilly at 20 mph as I tooled through downtown became my own, personal pair of freezing torture devices at 80 mph going over the bridge. Yes, I did try slowing down--apparently the difference between 50 and 80 means nothing to wet leather gloves.  I tried exercises--didn't help.  I went to my "happy places" (I have of them) to no avail. I couldn't get my fingers to work for several minutes--which meant that I had to walk around a little while with my helmet on because I couldn't get the strap off.  My fingers were bright purple (wtf) when I finally started getting some feeling back into them and they still don't feel right.

So let me just say the following: Dress warmly and keep dry.  And don't wear your wet sh!t on a cold night unless you want to sit at the "special table" with me.

Ya, wet leather, not so comfy.

Alpinestars Drystar gloves - 40 bucks, and pretty damn good

Exactly.  Or that it might be cold in winter.

I bet I could run a drill into the middle of my forehead and not have it make one damned bit of difference in my daily life--maybe I'd forget how to spell spaghetti or something...maybe grandma's birthday...but honestly, I'm operating on maybe 2.3% of my gray matter.  The rest is just takin' up space.

One of the signs of the apocalypse:

Spidey arguing with 'Belle that she is *not* retarded.

Picked up a bug over the weekend.  Hopefully am feeling well enough to make it this week.  Enzo has a series of deadlines for work, so he's on the fence as well.   Tongue
