Saw the Ducati Freestyle Team from the International Motorcycle Show in NYC on Friday, 1/22/2010.

The rider was using a Stock Monster 696 with the Termi CF Exhaust, ECU and Filter kit and Avon Tires.

The show was here week before last in Greenville, SC.  The venue looks pretty much the same.  One of the stunters suffered a fall resulting in a compound leg fracture and bleeding like a stuck pig.

I was there the day after.  Did anybody else see it?

they did that the dc show and he did the cool dismount of put the kickstand down while rolling then jumping off the fron tof the bike and letting the bike stop behind him on the stand, not as cool as the christian pheffer one where he does a flip off the front of the bike then the bike goes on the sidestand but still good.

was it on the red 696? the guy at the booth said, his bike is sitting here for show for that exact same reason, so whoever is out there on the other 696 is on there by himsefl for a while.

I saw the kickstand dismount in NYC also, just didn't catch it on video. At first I thought he lost it and was thrown, but then he landed on his feet and the bike stood there, amazing!

Soooo the kickstand mount.

We were there at the end of the night and that guy (sorry dont' know his name) was fixing the bike. It seems that he stripped the bolt that holds the kickstand into the engine. At least it wasn't leaking oil and he's only got tomorrow (Sunday) to get thru. The guy that broke his leg was there in a wheelchair.

The floor is ridiculously slippery and the space is a little small, but he's doing a great job with what he's got.

theres a sticky coating on the floor that could take my shoe off if it wasnt laced. i think its the same stuff those guys at the drag strip use...well some people atleast.

i wonder what size sprocket these guys run? Ive alwas wanted to stunt my monster!

they spread coke on the floor for traction... Look at the rear sprocket it's huge!  I didn't ask but I would say a 55-60tooth.  That's the main reason for the switch from Hyper to 696..  the 696 will accommodate a big sprocket.
