get an accent color you can do the whole bike black, but really are you trying to make the bike look like a harley davidson nightster? (not sure on spelling, but you get the idea).
i personally think that a bike that is completely and totally flat black literally and figuratively won't have anything that pops on it, sure its a very basic look but i think if you want to make the bike stand out a little then maybe think of an accent color to put on the bike that will offset the flat black. you don't have to go crazy but something would be good. ever seen the art work white on white?

Probably semi-off topic but still interesting guy did a write up on Ducati.ms not sure were it is but its a wet/open clutch cover. Pretty sweet guy made it himself with lexan and a few other bits any time after 40 sec.

...
With all the wet clutch guys clamoring for clutch bling, I'm a tiny bit surprised the wet clutch covers with lexan windows aren't commercially available.
You can get them for a number of Japanese bikes -- even my somewhat obscure Bandit.

I'm not going totally black. Red is currently my accent color, although I have very little on the bike at the moment. Going to add more red anodized parts, but I think this one would be too much. Might even add some retro paint accents on the cowl down the road.....

Hard anodization is more UV resistant than regular anodization. Reds tend to go pink, blacks tend to go purple if it is not hard anodized.

I'm guessing these wouldn't fit a 620 clutch case, huh?

Huzzaah!!
thought i searched properly on fleabay, but guess not!
the slider part is removable, so it would be cool to PC or paint it a contrasting color.
Thanks Fergus!

Anyone get theirs yet?
SSR made the gas cap I have on the Monstrada. They seem to make nice pieces for a reasonable price.

So how does this work for an S2R 800. I am presuming one gets a whole new crankcase cover with a clutch cover that bolts on?All that for $149.00?
I am having trouble wrapping my head around that. My cover is a wet clutch and all one piece. I just cannot see that whole cover plus a blingy blingy bit for $149.00 What am I not getting? Its kinda clunky looking .........

it's a chunk of metal that you put on the outside of the stock cover. it protects it and 'beautifies' (subjective) it.

OK, I'ma gonna say it...
The best clutch mod you can do to a wet clutch Duc is to sell the bike and use the cash for a Ducati with a dry clutch.
If you choose right, you might even have extra $$ for some
