No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

But on the VW note; I'm a bit miffed that that VW downspec'd the diesel variant of the JSW so badly.  But then again, maybe I should just refer myself back to my own thread about the car market here...

They also did a fine job of uglifying it.  It was actually the first car I went to check out online, but I was quickly deterred.

Oooh, no can on the van, man.  Though it is notably cooler than a standard van, I don't think I could fit the monster in the back, and that has always been the only selling point of those beasties.

wasn't the whole point of a not-two-door-vehicle to fit your monster in the back?

Nice!!  How does it drive?  Surprised you got it at Cutter; were they able to beat Tony's price?

Any idea what the towing capacity it is?  Wink

Drive is pretty impressive for a diesel.  Kicks in when I want it to - it still has the DSG, hence launch control!  - but gets 40ish mpg.  I've averaged 41.something so far.

Cutter had a non-silver car, and they were willing to meet a price that Tony wasn't, namely MSRP.  Amazing how anywhere else MSRP is overpriced, and here it's a low price goal.  Either way, I can't wait to get rid of the Cutter license plate frames.

I still have the BMW, I didn't even ask them to give me a trade-in price on it since I knew it would be pathetic.  I guess I need to sell it now.  boo boo boo.
