Picked up some 21st Amendment brews in PA over the weekend. Not sure I like them. They all seem to have this same funny flavor that I can't quite describe. Maybe it is the yeast they use.  |

Just finished a 3 pack of Sam Adams oak barrel aged beers. All were good, and high ABV (9-10%). I had the New World Golden Tripel, Thirteenth Hour Belgian Stout, and Tetravis Belgian Quad. I have to say the New World was my favorite. All were in special 25.4oz corked bottles...

Tried a chipotle pepper smoked porter by Stone Brewing Co. Quite tasty. I'm thinking it would go great with some baby back ribs or a nice grilled ribeye.
