Picked up some 21st Amendment brews in PA over the weekend.

Not sure I like them.  They all seem to have this same funny flavor that I can't quite describe.

Maybe it is the yeast they use.   Huh?

Just finished a 3 pack of Sam Adams oak barrel aged beers. All were good, and high ABV (9-10%). I had the New World Golden Tripel, Thirteenth Hour Belgian Stout, and Tetravis Belgian Quad. I have to say the New World was my favorite. All were in special 25.4oz corked bottles...

Tried a chipotle pepper smoked porter by Stone Brewing Co.  Quite tasty.  I'm thinking it would go great with some baby back ribs or a nice grilled ribeye.

^^^ Reminds me of an Alaskan Jalapeno Imperial IPA I had recently. Great stuff.

Here's my latest project, two gallons of American IPA made with eight kinds of hops:

tried the Mission Shipwrecked Double IPA yesterday,

not the greatest starting taste but it smooths itself out real quick
32 ounce can at 9.25%
it turned into a good day
