Official 2010 MotoGP Grid released:

http://www.crash.net/motogp/news/156312/1/fim_reveals_2010_motogp_entry_list.html

I don't like the new trend where the top riders don't run 1, 2, 3.  I get that Rossi did it, but we all have to admit that it's a special case.  #46 ain't like the rest.

P.S.  Crash.net thinks Spies 'settled' for #11 because he lost out on the chance to run #19.

maybe they're right but 19 was an homage.. 11 is his normal number.

Only 7 countries represented?  US, Australia, Italy, Spain, France, Japan & Finland.  I'd expect more.

5 Italians
5 Spaniards
3 Americans
1 Australian
1 Japanese
1 French
1 Finnish

And it appears that Crash.net thinks that Jorge got a new passport.

What was 19 an homage to? I never got used to him running 19 in WSBK. I just figured his number was available in GP and went back to it.

19 was for one of his hometown racing buddies that died, IIRC.
