I found an Ohlins du301 http://www.ohlins.com/Our-products/Motorcycle/Products/Hypersport/DU-301/ at what might be a good deal.  It is made for the 749/999.  It is an adjustable shock with an attached reservoir.  Will it fit my S2R800?  I think a 749/999 stock rear shock fits, but interferes with some removable component.  I'm guessing the Ohlins will fit as well, but wanted to see if anyone knows.

this is a good question.
im curious myself.
from what i understand, you will have to relocate your coil, and remove (grind off) your coil bracket.
the spring will also be way too soft.

i think he-man did this with a 999 shock? maybe he can chime in
