Guys, got home today and my garage door has been forced open(two deadlocks). Ducati has been taken as well as a couple of pushbikes. Looks to be inside job from someone in the complex as i have my garage completely 'blacked out' so that you cannot see in..... To exit the complex a buzzer is also required.  I still have all the keys to the bike.

If anyone sees a red/white S2R 1000, open belt covers, Termi system, red/gold clutch, white wheels, can you let me know?? I'm looking to break some knees over this.

Don't know what else to say, i'm feeling a little flat  Undecided

That is rotten mate.
Do these people know what your day/night job is Huh?
I am sure you have already told your insurance, little comfort I am sure.

A friend of mine had two bikes nicked at Pearl Beach over Christmas, he ended up employing one of the "locals"
and hey presto they were both back in two days.

Hmm, the employing a local is interesting.... May actually look into that.

In Sutherland area. Happened between 12.30pm and 1300pm today.

I know it's a long shot, but if anyone hears of any random S2R 1000's turning up around town for some 'maintenance work' can you let me know....

If it gets completely chopped then it's gone, but if they just change the front end it will still sound the same.... I know, long shot  bow down

Long shots are always worth playing I know I'll be keeping my eyes out as I am sure everyone here will.

THAT REALLY SUCKS !!

Just goes to show that if some low life really wants your ride then they will get to it, someone must have been watching your movements for a while because that is a very narrow window of opportunity, half an hour, I've been thinking about Data Dots and that other one that can track your bikes movements when it doesnt have its key in.
I reckon someone must know something, get a proper bastard to 'lean' on a few people, it may crack a few people.

Mick, if you know anyone that can 'lean', let me know. I may be on the blue side, but when the duc is stolen i'll go either side......

I'm being serious about that. Willing to pay $$ for help. I know i can get another bike, but i really really like the one i had  bang head

I told the private investigator (employed by the insurer to see if I was legit) the same thing, $, told him if he needed to grease palms to get info I will gladly pay.

Hadn't seen it before, nice bike, great looking pipes and headers!

Vince, Matty and I'm sure others will have ebay/bikesales covered for you.

Would greatly appreciate it. Money isn't really an issue to me in this case. As i said, i really do like that bike....  The headers are fairly unusual, and very clean(i like autosol  Grin ).  I'm going to call the Ducati mechanics in Sydney tomorrow to ask them to keep an eye out, long shot.  Thanks spider
