test rode the bma today at pro cycles st peters.what a weapon. Shocked
let me say the red/white and blue mottorad coloured bike looks sensational in life.polished swingarm not a great deal to have to modify.
behaves better than the streetfighter......hmmmm [moto]

The specs on them are incredible!!!
How did you like the quickshifter?
Where does the riding position sit relative to the S4R and the Streetfighter?

Funny though - all the power in the world, and they still don't keep up with a regular Fireblade around a track.  Impressive first step into the category!

q777..tell me your a qantas aerosexual!
now about that bike.they just gave me the key and told me to do laps around the shop.first i left it in rain mode.
impressive nothing to go wow about.tried to wheelie and could not get it up(sounds familiar laughingdp).sorry just thinking about something.the seating is not as aggresive as the 1098.it is like riding a 600.in fact i did not like the streetfighter either the way the headlight is mounted low makes you feel like your going to fall over the handle bars
and the bike has only 20 deg rake.
anyway.came in and the salesman wasnt around so i selected sport mode and took off.i was like a kid on a ride.now the throttle response was sharper.i still tried to wheelie and felt the traction control.
came back in and remembered that it had upshift assist.well i was going to tell the salesman that i wanted to try it out.guess what he was still inside so fugit i selected track mode and took off again.now that was something to go wow about.at high revs it sounded like a formula one car. i tell you if the cops caught me they would have torn my licence 3 times over.the whole time i downshifted the clutch was pretty forgiving being a slipperand the brakes will pull you up with just one finger (be careful) but they say the abs will work i just did not want to test them out.i was having fun just giving it sqirts and seing the difference in modes.35 mins later and i walked back in smiling like  i just had smoked a joint....

Glad it sounds better than the F800 series.  They're about the most uninspiring sound I've heard in ages...

Seems like everyone is having fun on the 1000.  What a performance bargain when compared to the pricing of all other BMWs in the range!

Haha - noone's ever said that before about Q777, but it's just a number plate.  Some people think I must be a gambler when they see it...

What options do you need to take it from $23500 to $26300?
