Looks awesome. Definitely a step in the right direction! I don't know if tank emblems are all that necessary man, the bike looks really clean without them. I would say get yourself that seatcowl painted to match, and call it quits!

Scratch that. CHOP THE TAIL!

Often wrong. Never in doubt.

Colour works great with the contrasting wheels and frame  waytogo  I'd second that thought about a tail cover to match the tank too.

And twin headlights, both of which are round - you're gonna make all the Oliver Cromwell followers very, very happy indeed Wink.

Seriously, the bike looks great - love the lights  waytogo

thanks for your comments, I do have the seat cowl It just needs paint, it is going on the bike. I am leaning toward  ducati tank logos in the 70s-80s design, the double line tube style in gold with monster in black underneath.

the headlamp is a harley turned sideways, Its also modded, the bottom light is normal low beam and the top is HID bulb from a Lexus for high beam. I mounted the ballast to the side of the headlamp housing, I will get close up pics tommorrow.

Tail chop? IDK, I had a bobber before (no fender) and everytime I went though a water puddle it would throw a stripe up my bike, looked like a skid mark.

The headers are nickel plated and will turn various rainbow colors as they gets hot, its already turning blue.

I recleared all the CF bits and painted the frame with the engine in the bike, pulled the forks to paint the triples and fork lowers.

I fitted the super bike frt fender and added a section of my monster fender to the rear to keep debis from hitting the head.

I chopped the rear hugger and skeletonized the belt covers and cut the center out of the clutch cover, I also painted the stock pressure plate gold.

Future plans are for an exbox exahust and new handle bars and grips maybe a small fly screen.

like the stacked headlight, but since it's sideways, won't that affect the beam pattern?

Very cool... if you've got time to lay out a step-by-step of how you did this, I'd be very appreciative.  I've got a SBK front fender with rash on the back edge, so if i'm going to be filling and repairing I may as well look into extending.

Also, the finish on the engine looks different in the "after" pics... did you paint, re-clear, polish...Huh?

Looking great.  I like the color scheme.

I dont really know how to explain what I did, I am better with my hands than my words.  Basically I chopped off my monster fender and slid it under the front section, it wouldnt bolt together without sticking out like a retard so i used a 2"x 4" section of rubber strip 3/8" thick and with a mini grinder shaped it into a wedge to position the fender where i wanted. then I used some body clips cut off and reversed to make flush on the bottom mounts.

I am an autobody repair tech, so this kinda stuff is normal for me.

and yes I painted the engine cover on the left side with some rattle can silver to clean it up a bit

more pics, and the little duck on the beer tray flashes yellow. I stuck two yellow strobe lights (autozone specials) inside of it and wired a switch under the side panel.
BLINK, BLINK, BLINK, BLINK.....lol.

the bottom bulb is regular 55w, the top bulb is a HID from a lexus. the pics dont really show it but the HID is way more intense and brighter, I think my cameras auto setting adjusted for the brighter light.
