I did make an appointment. I'm doing better. We walked around the block 3 times today. Early this morning, 0545ish, Frances wanted out. I've been letting her out in the yard without a leash in the early am. She chased a cat across the street and would not come back! I waited about 10 minutes and then went back upstairs to get the leash. I then had to go into the back yard of the house across the street. She was in a thicket of brush and branches. I had to make my in and pull her out. Dang dog.

Good morning. The 0545 outing today was on leash! The lap around the block now taking 13 minutes instead of 11. 

   Home in time to get ready to watch the sprint race.

Evening Ducatters 

Got to take Ducati's latest you-beaut new V2S non-Desmo Multistrada for a blast this arvo. Less weight, more bland. Missing low end grunt (890cc vs 1260cc will do that). Low rent switchgear.

I liked the less weight.

Was up & out this morning to provide support to the friend's charity cycling team as they had a long route planned.

All was good until I needed to switch highways and didn't see a substantially sized chunk of landscaping rock in the roadway and I was unable to avoid it.  Luckily, I was able to get of that stretch of road in about a block and into a hotel parking lot.  I forgot my WRX is sans spare tire.  Luckily, another person was able to come pick up the gear and I got a tow to Costco, who happened to have the tire in stock, to be replaced under their road hazard warranty.  I do have a art tour this afternoon, so hopefully it all works out and I can Uber back up there before they close.

    Morning.  Unusually foggy this morning. Should clear out soon then the pup and I are going to find another cup of coffee up the canyon in the town outside of the national park. Need to get out of the house but still can't hike yet.

Was able to retrieve my car after the tour yesterday.  Unfortunately, the inner bead of the rim is bent.  They used bead sealer, but I will either need to have the rim repaired or replace it. 

On the upside, I went to a huge party last night that a local developer throws every year.  It was held at his venue - open bars, three food trucks, great time.  Met some new people, so that was good.

Picked up another tour for this afternoon.

Edit: forgot to add, the local tortilla factory (two blocks away) had a chili crunch tortilla this week, so I made some tasty breakfast tocos with them this morning.
