Good morning,

I recently joined the AMA and I was going through the member benefits and saw this:
Bank of America Visa 3% rebate program
Every time you use your AMA Visa card at a qualified motorcycle retailer, the transaction is rung up at full price, but you get a 3% rebate on your credit card bill. Call (800) 523-7666 and mention code UAAYYD. The 3% AMA Credit Rebate applies to purchases up to $7,500 made at retailers assigned merchant category code 5571. Check with your dealer to determine their category code.

I was curious if anyone had one of these and if so, do you find it easy to use?  That is, are there plentiful motorcycle retailers with 'category code 5571?'

Thanks
Andy

Roll Eyes Run away.  Just pay cash and ask your dealership to discount you the same 3%, because they're more than likely being charged a 5% transaction fee by BOA.

I had a AMA credit card, but it was through MBNA. I had paid faithfully on it and when I went through my divorce I missed ONE payment so it went from 3.99% to 18 or 20ish%. I called and explained to them what happened. They could give a rats azz. So I paid it off and canceled it.

Well, that's MBNA, not the AMA's doing.
