The time is approaching! Just wanted to drop a line saying that I've got about a month and a half until we touchdown. Rental car is set, tickets are being finalized and rental is being split amongst 4 places (2 hotels on waikiki, a condo on the beach by diamond head, and a weekend at a fancy resort TBD). Keep in touch if anyone wants to: hike, kayak, hang out, grab food/booze.

Hey All.
Plans are set. We fly in about noon on sunday. we're staying at a couple different hotels in waikiki until August 21 when we go to The New Otani on Sans Souci beach until sept 17th. The wife will be at Trippler during the day in a Peds and Peds GI rotation, while I hang out and look for things to do. I'll be looking around to rent a bicycle, kayak and maybe a surfboard. Additionally, I'll be trying to make some contacts and scouting for a possible job. We find out in december where we'll be sent for her residency, but it's a 75% probability that we'll be going to hawaii.

So, If anyone wants to meet up for drinks, food, hikes, various outdoor activities or maybe a ride (if i can find a decent enough rental) let me know.

Touched down and sitting on the beach. JC - let me know when you get back into town and we'll head somewhere fancy for a a drink - like applebees!  [laugh]

Just found out, the Wife has been Assigned to Tripler Army Medical center for the next 3-4 years. We'll be moving to the Island in June! See you all next year!
