...and no right turns.
I suspect the only race worth watching next year will be the fans as they race to exit the track after the first lap.

I think the 185 HP max. is ONE of the most idiotic rules.
Will NASBIKE disqualify you if you have 185.1 HP, or just fine the crew chief and take away owners points?
Can TBOT be far off

Well I think it will be far more entertaining to watch than the present suzuki show. I'm curious though how the new BMW is already eligible since they haven't made any yet... or am I thinking of the wrong model?

E. Machines unable to make post qualifying or post race tech and complete their
dynamometer runs for any reasons, including major crashes or major mechanical failures will be penalized.
So if you yard sale your bike, and they were going to dyno it, you get penalized?

If you remember a few years ago(ok more than a few), both Darrell Waltrip and the King hisself (Richard Petty) had some super fast "hotrods" (thanks Rusty Wallace)
and after winning handily they somehow "grenaded" their engines and passed tech cause the parts were in less than pristine condition.
Maybe that is what they are attempting to guard against.
Yet another reason this rule is F'n STOOPID
The scenario - Jake Zemke (sorry, Jake just picked you) wins and know he has too much HP so he bins it intentionally where the bike will be a write-off and blows the engine at the same time.............
See F'n STOOPID above

at the iowa speedway moto-st race last year, the race was redflagged due to an incident involving the leader. their bike was unable to make post-race tech/dyno and was disqualified:

Well, I can kind of see the point to guard against 'accidentally' blowing up the motor doing a burnout on the cool-down lap.
But, Derby's Moto-ST reference, well, that DQ was just wrong.
They're 3 laps ahead, and the rider gets tangled up and stuffs the bike and himself into the wall, ending up in the hospital.
They think he did it on purpose?

no, but there is no way to verify that his machine was within class horsepower limits.

One more reason to stay with displacement limits and let the tuners do their work.

oh, the tuners aren't out of a job. they'll just move all the power into the midrange.

But if there's a hp limit...
does the test specify a certain rpm, say redline...
or is it a max hp limit?
I'm not thinking the tuners are out of work.
I'm thinking a winning bike was dq'd without any proof it was illegal.
