I got up one morning, four days ago and found the new configurator on Ducati.com. I built a nice M1100s, tweeted about it and called my brother to go to Ducati Montreal.

No matter how I looked at it... i still was wooed by the devil and too home (on paper) a Streetfighter  Evil. And then, we  chug and we  drink while  Grin and  waytogo with more  drink  chug.

Since then, i've been  coffeeGrin , Shocked and lots of  coffee while waiting for March 16 to roll around.

After the Benelli debacle of the last 18 months i'm more than  Grin to be  [moto] a Ducati again. There really isn't anything like it.

Dude - step away from the smilies...!

That's awesome news about the Streetfighter.  Congratulations!  The next 2 weeks might feel like an eternity, but you'll hopefully have many years and many smiles after the small wait.

Cheers,

Glad to see you are back to Ducati

But you didn't even use the  bacon one in your whole post.

Please ban yourself for a day or two, think about what you have done and then edit your post.

LMAO, i'm such a zombie this morning. This is my first offense in smilie overuse (AFAIK).

I just can't wait. I feel like a 17 year old who has nothing to worry about and onely things to look forward to.

I mean no offense to anyone here, but there's no way I would buy one of the new Monsters.  The exhaust and subframe business alone is enough to put me off.  If I were going with a 2Valve motor I would go with a Sport Classic or something.

I've been slow to warm to the Streetfighter, but that's the way to go between the two, imo.

touche, just thought the last 8 or so posting i've seen you make are pretty negative, and this is more of a "congratulations" type of conversation don't you think?

I suspect you're just butt hurt because I dissed a bike I only now notice you happen to own.

Might I suggest, next time you decide to get snarky, take a deep breath and understand that upon which you seek to heap snark.

Snark is fine.  Lame snark is, well, lame.

In any event, Bullfrog, congrats on making the right choice.  The Streetfighter is an awesome machine.  Gotta get one of those myself someday.
