PJFA - are you mounting those below the triple, or above?

Above  waytogo
Don´t have them yet.
Shipped today from Germany.

Can someone with a M1100/s check the mesurements fro axle to Lower Triple Clamp?
And from axle to Top triple Clamp.

Here´s mine

Don't forget about LSL clipons.  Seem to be very well made. Don't know if they make a 3.5" though.

Is there an issue with mounting them above the triple? is that why everyone is looking for 2.5-3.5" rise?

Yes there is an issue with mounting clipons above the triple.  You cant.  There isnt enough exposed fork leg to mount em to unless you either do as pjfa and fit longer forks or else dramatically alter the steering geometry by dropping the forks in the clamps 50mm or so.

Get mines today from Germany (http://www.performanceparts.de/)
A little issue with a mark in the top of the right clamp.
Already sent an e-mail to Wolfgang about this.

And... He already answer me:
He will send me a new clamp asap waytogo

I will take some new pictures with the clipons instaled.

I'm looking forward to seeing how this shapes up pjfa  waytogo

BTW - you're gonna need to lose those roll-pins on that Speedymoto triple unless you're planning a different headlight mounting point.

small update in the world of clipons...
woodcraft-cfm is now manufacturing and selling clipons with 2.5 and 3 inch risers.
previously the highest riser they had was 2-inch.
I've only seen this directly on woodcraft-cfm.com

Performance Parts => Customer Service 110%

After reporting a little issue with the right clamp, last 18th March, today the new one was delivered.
We are talking about getting the part at the 3rd working day (shipped from Germany to Portugal)

I wish to thank´s to Wolfgang Krämer for the great Service.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen Wolfgang.

They look good, but for roughly $268 US I'd expect service like that!

Those are 1098 forks, correct?  With 4 lines showing on the top of the tubes, the clearance between the front wheel and the head/oil-cooler or rad is going to be VERY close, if not too close.

I'm running into problems on my bike, as the forks are long enough, but because of the taper in-between the mounting points, you cannot slide them down far enough to get back to stock height/spacing.  I'm going to have to make up a shim to go over the forks so I can drop them down and still clamp them in the triple.

I wish I could find the stock measurement of a s4r with radial brakes, but I haven't been able to.  Best measurement I've gotten on mine has been 17 7/8" from center of axle to the bottom of the triple/stem.  Sure doesn't look like it's enough.....

I was on a quest for the right rise clip on last week and I came across the SV racing forums and hooked up with Blair from svracingparts. He bought much of the Swatt stock and has many 50mm variations in stock.

http://forum.svrider.com/showthread.php?t=117052

Blair is super professional and his prices are great too. No 53mm applications though.
