another 695 suspension question
«

Hello to all members. I own 07 695 with that stock horrible suspension , I'm about 200 pounds with gear, and planing on getting some forks and shock, the front i would like to get forks from s2r1000 and rear shock from 01 st2 , what do you guys think?
and what about fitment of the rear shock ? the one that I'm looking at has that little reservoir attached to it and I'm worried that it may not clear with other bike parts.
thanks for all the replies

I think a rear shock with the remote reservoir from a st4 might have better clearance.

I put S2R1000 forks on my Monster (direct swap). The upgrade is well worth it. I also got a new spring in the back, but I'm not really sure where it came from (other than Ducshop, who did all the work).

FYI, I'm about your size fully loaded, and Ducshop said a new stiffer spring in the back would really be all that's needed on the 695. YMMV.
