LandRover is not owned by ford. They are owned by TATA in India. Ford sold them.
The British car industry has put out some remarkable cars over the course of history, some remarkably good, some not so good. One of the most desirable British cars to own is a 1948 Jaguar C type. They made 6 in 1948. I know where 1 is with a spare engine. Owner turned down 500,000 for the one of six spare motors.Numbers mean everything when it comes to some cars.
As far as good cars go all cars are good if your only choice is walking.I did not own a car until I was 22. I started riding motorbikes at 15. I used to log 25,000 miles a year on 2 wheels. Maybe again one day I'll get back to that......... [thumbsup]
