There is usually still a clear coat, its just an Eggshell clear as opposed to a full gloss clear.
Not on the Monster Darks, and I doubt on the 848.

They are a single stage system.

Also they skip a step in prep because the low gloss paint doesn't show the normal irregularities of manufacture.

Have a couple of them at Ducati Scottsdale.  One already has the black swingarm on it.

That bike is beautiful but the one that REALLY caught my eye was the 1198S that a woman just traded her Bayliss in for.

Yep, if only I had the $. This bike is my ultimate dream bike.

I would darken every possible part for sure.

All the Ducati's made the 1290SDR possible!

1198R is sick, but it's no road bike.

I could be happy with one on the road and even though there would lots of times that both of us would be totally miserable I'd still be happy. If worse came to worse I'd just knock back some beers and look at it in the garage.

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.
