Hi all,

A couple of years ago I was playing motogpmanager to make the racing a bit more interesting, but that site has bitten the dust.

I have found a new site that is similar, http://www.fantasyriders.com/ you get a set amount of cash to buy 2 riders in each of MotoGP, SBK and BSB.

Depending on the option's you select when setting up the team, and how well you do (to earn money) you can swap riders though the season.

As I said, it covers MotoGP, SBK and BSB. So it might not be everyones cup of tea, but is anyone interested in a Oz Monsters comp?  (we have obviously missed the first round of the SBK's)

BTW, it's free to enter.

OK, I've set it up. Go to http://www.fantasyriders.com/ and register, you will have the option to join a Personal League and enter the League Number. Full details are:

League Type      : Public
League Name      : Oz Monsters
League Number    : 80108
League Password  : Not Applicable
Description      : Oz Monsters of the DMF

How to Play

There are 3 options when creating your Fantasy Riders team in 2010.

Strategy 1 - a starting budget of 60.0m, but no transfers permitted during the season.
Strategy 2 - a starting budget of 50.0m, and up to 10 transfers permitted during the season.
Strategy 3 - a starting budget of 45.0m, and up to 20 transfers permitted during the season.

When creating your team you will be presented with these 3 options. Once selected, you are unable to switch strategies so choose carefully!!!

Once you have decided which strategy to adopt, you will be able to spend up to 20.0 in any one series. Your choice of riders will be influenced by their fictitious 'price' which has been assigned to each of them for the purpose of this competition.

By definition, a transfer is required when removing a rider from your team that is still racing in that series. All players can add riders to their team without penalty, regardless of the number of transfers available. If your rider is released, replaced, or injured, all players will be able to remove that rider from their team without penalty, allowing you to transfer them out and spend the money on a new rider. You will not 'automatically' score points for their replacement rider - it is down to you to make that change. This applies to all strategies.

All selected riders will score points for your team based on their performance in each race, as set out on the 'How to Score' page.

At a point later in the racing calendar, all teams will receive a 'budget boost' allowing them to add further riders to their team. Full details will appear here shortly.

Please note that the 'cut-off' for any changes is typically 17:00 UK time on the Friday before each race weekend. Any changes (or new entries) will be prohibited until after the completion of the race.

World SBK is on this weekend. It's going to be the first race of the OZ DMF comp.

It's not too late to join in Cheesy

OK, we have had our first round after the SBK race in Portimão last night, and there is already a big spread in the field. What hapened Matty, did Bull Racing forget to choose 2 SBK riders?

1st      HCG Racing             90
2nd     Underwater Corsa     66
3rd      Coral Corse             10
4th      Bull Racing              1

As you can see, you can still enter and you've got an easy chance of beating Matty Wink

Oh and by the way I joined Formula 1 also.
Really have no idea about BSB. Least I'm not last and only just behind 3rd place.
