I was out riding lastnight, and the bike was getting kinda hot. I noticed at a gas station that the coolant res. was below the min level. What type of coolant should i use?

you should be fine with just abiut any 50/50 mix.  Try to get something with a low silica or no silica mix.

definitly silicate free thats a must , I use Nissan or Toyota coolant.
