I am trying to put together a couple mounting kits for heat shields.  I know what the kit will consist of but do not know the names of the parts.  I've tried buying just the mounting kit from the Leo Vince universal CF heat shield but nobody who sells it will sell the mounting kit seperate.  I've attached a picture of what one set would look like.  Could you please help me with the names for these parts and if you know where I can get them would also be helpful.  I would actually need the metal pieces on the left to have one taller than the other for the two sets I want to make.

I know the bolts/screws and washers but that's about the extent of my knowledge  Tongue

those are hose clamps, clip nuts and those brackets are just....application specific brackets I believe so you'll have to fab your own

Thanks Mac.  Found out that they are also called worm drive clamps.  Hope that you are wrong about those brackets.  Maybe someone on here knows of something similar.

You can use these clamps.  They are 304 stainless, so you can weld a bracket to it like the Desmorados pic:

Thanks everybody for your help.  I am ordering the brackets that DarkStar pointed out as I type this.  Didn't think I'd find something like that readymade.  Thanks DS.   chug

I think you got too personal.  I just called them doohicky, widget, watchamacallit, and thingamabob  drink  You have to be technical or they start thinking they can run things.   Wink
