PLEASE READ: Not Safe for Work Avatars

We here at the DMF, in an attempt to make sure that the DMF remains a work-safe board, have always had a policy of not allowing NSFW photos
And by and large this policy has worked out well for our members. Folks have done a great job keeping to the guidelines that the DMF should be able to be up on a screen in anyone's office and not get them in trouble for anything other than wasting time.
However, lately we've been getting complaints about people's avatar pictures.
This hasn't been an area where we've been enforcing the
"Members shall not post images or links containing, nudity, partial nudity, sexual acts, or depiction thereof. This includes pictures for purely sexual purposes."
rule, but unfortunately it's become a problem.
So in the interests of keeping the board SFW, we ask that any folks who's avatars fit into the above category please change them to something "work appropriate."
We also realize folks don't log on every day so there will be a grace period before we go in and manually remove them.
Thanks for understanding, and thanks for keeping the DMF available as a invaluable time sink for those of us with internet access at work

I totally understand, but I don't access DMF at work...
- so, can I please be allowed to watch? Some of those pictures are really stunning.

FTR, you avatars never offended me, but I felt like I should have been offended. Does that make me a bad person?

Dammit! Your avatars were nice little nuggets of awsomeness on this site. They will be missed
but I can see where the Mods are coming from

How funny - I was just over at the R1-Forum and the avatars there make the avatars here (even the ones that caused this change) look like a G movie.
I'm cool w/the change none the less. [moto]
