Ahhh! I dropped my bike today!

No damage, except a scuffed brake lever and maybe a tiny scratch on the exhaust cover plate (the rear passenger riding pegs were down, I think that saved it a lot of scratches..)... THANK GOD.
I knew this day would come, but I could not prepare for the horror.
Girl got off the back, I flipped the bike around to park it, bam. I think I was used to moving it with the extra 120lbs on the back, and once I was alone on the bike, I locked up the front brake while pushing it....
Gas started leaking out of the top, engine still running...
Oh well. Could have been a lot worse!
Also had a NEAR fall that would have been 10000x worse... Going down Lombard street.. (the curvy part) hit a piece of gravel while holding both brakes going downhill... Front tire skidded, then caught, and all was ok. Rock went flying at some tourists.
All in all... a horrible day for me and the bike, hope tomorrow is better.
Weather was amazing though.

I dropped mine a few days back, too. I was sick to my gut the whole day, even though, like you, I had no damage (I think it hurt my ego more than the bike, heh).
It happened to me when I was sitting on it in my garage. Goes to show it can happen at anytime. Especially when you don't think it will.

Sorry you fouled her.....
Have had my s2r 1k for 2 years but have dropped it 5 times since Nov.
My driveway is about 400 yards long, is raised and grassed going thru a pecan grove but after a rain lately it gets a thin layer of slippery that is like grease on a steel plate,, just putting along and bammmm front tire washes out either left or right.
3 were step offs, 1 was a running step off with my head going faster than my feet until I face planted, then the 5th entailed a little superman action with my shoulder hitting the ground first and sliding into a ditch.
Results were several bar ends whipped out , I keep spares and buy the cheap ones, and one big purple hip bruise.
Each time was laughable and no big deal......

It happens - hurt when I first dropped mine as well. Great that you didn't have anything break, but if it does just think of it as an opportunity to do some upgrades
Ever wonder why so many bikes have trick aftermarket levers and exhaust? Now you know

That's called "rubbing the NEW off of it".
It happens.
You need to practice -so when you highside you know what to do.

Just had a near miss the other day, similar to your lombard street inncident. Going down the street in downtown with all the high rises. Slowed down to make a right turn, hit a patch of sand. Front wheel started to go, left foot slipped off the peg, eyes wide open for a low side. All of a suddent front wheel caught traction and the bike most bucked me off. Phewwwwwww.

Been there, done that.
I was backing out of a parking spot at a UDF (convenient store) the first year I had my M750.
I was parked on the end, by the bike rack, which of course was full of kids bikes.
One of them just have fallen over, I put my right foot on it, slipped, and down we went.
The bike fell on me, but luckily I was able to control the fall slowly, so we just laid down together.
Luckily this guy was walking out at the same time, laughed at me, and helped get the bike off me. He was a Guzzi owner and said it has happened to him a few times as well.
Second time was at work. At our MFG facility, they have Moto parking, but this long piece of shiney metal is where you park, so your kickstand won't sink into the asphalt.
I don't remember what happened, but I think I forgot to put the kickstand down, bike was starting to fall left, I about saved it, but slide off it because of that damn metal.
