I Ride: a 2005 S2R 800 (sold)

« on: March 13, 2010, 01:06:33 AM »

Hey guys, I'm planning a 6 day, 3770 mile trip across the western half of the US and I'm planning to have my third stop somewhere around Phoenix.  I'm planning on stopping there on may 12th and will probably come in fairly late.  I thought I might as well ask to see if a fellow DMFer would let me stay the night.  I promise I'll be quiet Grin.  I won't be too much of a disturbance, I'll probably just sleep and keep going.  I'm just a regular broke college student looking for a long ride to clear my head after a tough semester.  I don't expect anyone to say yes, but I thought I'd ask.  Have a great weekend and ride safe waytogo

here's a rough outline of my ride plan: http://www.mapquest.com/mq/8-6kgIgsNfcS4S3AHxwiqJ

Let's talk when the time gets closer Mac.  I'm not quite sure what the plan is yet but we should still be here in the valley at that time.  We have a garage to keep the bike warm too with a couple other Monsters to keep yours company.  waytogo   My place is centrally located and very easy to find!  waytogo

That would be amazing  Grin  I'm still in the planning stages so even though this offer isn't set in stone, I'm really glad to hear it  Grin

Well If for some reason you take I-10 and come through Tucson you've got a place to stay here  chug. Me and the Mrs. Live about 2 miles off of I-10, super easy Highway access. Enjoy the trip!!!

The legs of your trip are kind of odd.

D to E will take 4 times as long as C to D.

If it were me, I'd do B to D in one day, and then split D to E into two days. That way you can go to the Grand Canyon.

Where is your starting point?
