Just a heads up on the HID: While the light reaches far out, the sharp cut off angles really demand your attention to the road surface directly in front of you at night.  The amount of light is GREAT, it looks better than daylight, where the beam is directed...  Also to mention, I seem to have shorted out my gauge cluster or the wiring harness somewhere because of the HID system trying to ignite the bulb while the bike was not running.  I've since swapped back to the standard H4 bulb.

I run a Hella 130/90. I had to tilt the headlight down a little to avoid annoying cagers with the low beam. It was obviously a huge improvement over stock, but I have no experience with the PIAAs for comparison. Be advised, this is also Highly illegal.

I wasn't sure if the alternator would be able to handle it, but it's going on a year now with no issues.
