Due to exhaustive efforts from members on this board (Ungeheuer & Doworkson & not to forget Raux!), the H-Competition Rodan box will work on the M1100. The kit includes a new midpipe, exhaust tip of your choice and (Motocreations Duc.EE Servo Eliminator) These are pics of the box on Doworkson's bike.   |

Due to exhaustive efforts..... Good one...   . Yup Raux, a stock M696 midpipe slips straight on M1100 just as you and others said that it probably would  . After getting a bent up midpipe from an ebay seller   , I finally got a good 696 midpipe from DoWorkSon which I fitted successfully yesterday, >> http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=33007.msg629648#msg629648Why the ? IMO the point where the mid pipe attaches to the box style needs to be a better transition, BUT, it is nice. Not as much interest in the dual pipes eh? I like em! |

Thanks for the We were trying a few configurations of the transition, but this 1 out of the 7 evolutions this one was all around the best (taking into consideration - fabrication and looks). We had one that necked down, but it would be impossible for repeatability and consistency. We did come up with a way to eliminate an ugly clamp hanging off so it is a cleaner look. I need to get some pics of the twice pipes on an 1100 now...Anyone in Phoenix with an 1100? |
