Thank all. Went for my first real ride yesterday and it was awesome. Although it took me a bit to figure out neutral. I'm coming off the ninja 250 which has some sort of noob friendly automatic neutral finder. So when I was trying it on the monster I thought it was the same deal and was applying way too much pressure when trying to find neutral from 1st. Just needs a slight little bit of pressure I found out later.
As for the pants, yup, I have them. I just didn't wear them. Bad I know.
And for the modding part, I'm gonna hold off on them for a bit and enjoy the bike and see what bugs me as time goes on. Then I'll see. But for sure, the stickers and side reflector are coming off this weekend. Need to buy some Goo-gone or whatever it's called.
The new underseat exhaust looks not to bad but sounds really cool. However I'm pretty happy with the stock pipes actually. And from reading this board, I think I may be one of the only ones.
